About the author
She is the founding Corporate Affairs Manager at Ghana Digital Centres Ltd., where she built the organisation’s communications function, and a communications consultant with Equality Now, writing and shaping media and editorial content on women’s rights, gender-based violence, child marriage and access to justice. She writes the weekly Her Space column for the Business and Financial Times and serves as General Secretary of the Network of Women in Broadcasting Ghana.
She holds a Master’s degree in Development Communication, a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a Diploma in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. At Gender Lens Africa she is building a newsroom that asks not only what happened, but whose experience, voice and interests are missing from the story.
Gender is not a beat we visit on occasion. It is the lens we report every story through.
